Kinesiotaping is a therapeutic method of applying to the body, in a precisely defined way, in a non-stretchable or flexible tape in the form of patches cut out by the therapist. It is used in sports medicine in the event of injury or overload.
It is also used in orthopedics and rehabilitation.
This method uses the natural self-healing processes of the organism. It has direct impact on the skin (receptors of pain, deep sensation) and on the lymphatic system, muscles and joints. At the same time, it reduces pain and unnatural skin sensation by activating the anesthesia system.
