The PNF method – proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation), is a method of comprehensive kinesitherapy based on the neurophysiological principles of performing motor functions and their development during human life, used to regain lost or shape disturbed motor skills. The method takes into account the perception of one’s own movement (proprioception) and focuses on facilitating the movement consistent with the physiological ways of performing the most effective motor activity.
